About Refuel Reflexology
I'm Joelle, a dancer turned marketing specialist, mum and reflexologist. In 2006 I decided it was time to feed my passion and learn more about the human body. Reflexology requires a knowledge of anatomy, biology, pathology, plus an understanding of how our emotions affect us physically. I first began studying reflexology in 2006 with the wonderful Anna Jeoffroy and Philip Salmon, while also studying Movement Psychotherapy at Goldsmiths College. Then, after years of continued marketing career and birth of my two beautiful daughters I left the corporate world and started Refuel Reflexology.
I have always been interested in alternative therapies and was drawn to Reflexology when trying to manage my own severe migraines, which I've had since I was 10 years old. I am particularly interested in the physical impacts emotions can have on the body and work with clients to understand the root cause of their ailments. The best part of my job is connecting with new people and helping them find balance and energy. There is always something new to learn and I shall endevour to share everything with my wonderful clients.
Reflexology has a special place in modern society due to it's non medical, stress relieving abilities. We all function better when given time to relax, restore and revitalise. Whether it be yoga, acupuncture, running or meditation, using our time wisely and finding a way to calm our minds for a short period every day has immense healing benefit.
My mission is to give people energy so they can achieve their goals. Whether it's having enough energy to get the kids to bed or dealing with a stressful time, I can harness the body's own power and give it what it needs to carry on. Reflexology has a transformative power that can refuel your day or aide a restful night. You can achieve your goals if your mind and body are set for action.
